Program Goals
Symposium will focus on current trends in the management of common healthcare issues in primary care. Current treatment/management options for a broad spectrum of primary care conditions. New pharmacological treatments in primary care.

Wendy L. Wright, MS, RN, ARNP, FNP, FAANP
Wendy is an adult and family nurse practitioner and the owner of Wright & Associates Family Healthcare. In addition, she is a partner with Partners in Healthcare Education, a medical education company.
Wendy was recently inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She presents nationally to various audiences and has been a speaker at over 300 conferences in 42 states. Wendy is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Wyoming and is the editor-in-chief for APCToday.com. Wendy has served as a consultant to a number of pharmaceutical companies, medical offices, and corporations.

Sally K. Miller, PhD, FNP-C, ACNP-C, GNP-C, FAANP
Dr. Sally Miller is an associate professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and teaches in the graduate nurse practitioner program with a focus in pharmacology, pathophysiology, and the diagnosis and management of illness in adults. Her program of research centers upon hormonal influences on weight loss maintenance. Dr. Miller is also a practicing clinician with a breadth of experience that includes primary care of children, both acute and primary care of adults, in-patient management of critically ill adults, and geriatrics. Dr. Miller is recognized nationally in the nurse practitioner community for her clinical expertise, serves on national expert advisory boards, and regularly presents clinical topics at national and regional meetings. She has authored a study guide and core curriculum for adult nurse practitioners, has published a variety of clinical articles, and has been a continuing education speaker for 15 years. Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Margaret A. Fitzgerald, DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, FAANP, CSP, FAAN
Margaret A. Fitzgerald, DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, FAANP, CSP, FAAN, is the founder, president and principal lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc. (FHEA), an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. More than 60,000 nurse practitioners have used the Fitzgerald review course to successfully prepare for certification.
An internationally recognized presenter, Dr. Fitzgerald has provided thousands of programs for numerous professional organizations, universities, national and state healthcare associations on a wide variety of topics including clinical pharmacology, assessment, laboratory diagnosis, healthcare and nurse practitioner practice. For more than 20 years she has provided graduate-level pharmacology courses for nurse practitioner students at a number of universities including Simmons College (Boston, MA), Husson College (Bangor, ME), University of Massachusetts Worcester, Pennsylvania State University, La Salle University (Philadelphia, PA), and Samford University (Birmingham, AL). In addition, she is a family nurse practitioner at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Lawrence, MA, and adjunct faculty for the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center Family Practice Residency Program. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, where she received the Alumni Association Award for Clinical Excellence.

CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION This continuing nursing education activity has been submitted for approval to the Missouri Nurses' Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). St. Louis Nurses in Advanced Practice (SLNAP) has requested 6.0 contact hours.

$50.00 for bound copy of speaker handouts. Must sign up and pay for this when registering for event. Only those that have ordered this will get a copy at the registration table.
Please Note:
Attendance is limited to 200, and enrollment is first come/first serve. Seating is limited to 80 per speaker per session.
A $50.00 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations prior to March 31, 2012. No refund for cancellations after March 31, 2012 will be given.
DO NOT use a computer at your place of employment to register or obtain your CEU certificate. These computers have fire walls and have caused issues for several people in the past.
