About the Speaker WendyWright.jpg

 

Wendy is a 1992 graduate of the Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Simmons College in Boston, MA. She completed a family nurse practitioner post-master's program in 1995. Wendy is family nurse practitioner employed in private practice in Merrimack, NH and is a partner in Partners in Healthcare Education. She is the past president of NPACE. Wendy is a senior lecturer Fitzgerald Health Associates. She is the recipient of numerous awards and chosen by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as the 1999 recipient of the New Hampshire State Excellence Award. Wendy was recently inducted as a fellow the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She presents nationally to a variety of audiences and has been a speaker at over 300 conferences in 42 states. Wendy is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Wyoming in the graduate nursing program and Medscape's website Ask Expert Nurse Practitioner. She is an editorial board member for Medscape's e-journal. Wendy is the editor-in-chief for APCToday.com; website designed for the Advance Practice Clinician to provide compehensive clinical and practical information.

This symposium will focus on current trends in the management of common healthcare issues in primary care.

·       Discuss new pharmacological treatments in primary care.

Continuing Education Information

This continuing nursing education activity has been submitted for approval to the Missouri Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the ANCC Commission on accreditation. SNAP has requested 6.0 CEU's. (Change due to new regulations)
